*Deniz has been added to the 2013 Dig It Up line up. Blue Oyster Cult and the newly reformed Flamin' Groovies are headlining.

*Deniz's new solo album is now set for release on February 22, 2013. The album titled Detroit will appear on the Citadel Label in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Career Records will release it in the rest of the world. Detroit will be issued on CD and Vinyl. The 12" edition has been mixed in mono. A single recorded with The Golden Breed is also scheduled for March release. The A-side is a cover of Bermuda. Flip is a Deniz Tek original, Calendar Girl.

A tour will open in Australia and continue on to Europe an the US. Watch for more information and a preview.

Deniz can also be heard on the new Donovan's Brain album, Turned Up Later. The Brain with Deniz on guitar appear on two compliations which will preceed the album. Skrang Sounds Like Bobby Sutliff will be released on January 19th. This is a benefit record for Brain member Bob Sutliff, who was involved in a serious auto accident last summer. The second compilation is a tribute to the band The Records. This is scheduled for February release.
