Trafalgar Records committed to record and produce a solo Angie Pepper album. To this end, the Angie Pepper Band was formed, rehearsed, and did a run of performances in and around Sydney in 1981. Deniz and Angie wrote an album's worth of material. Recording was about halfway finished when Trafalgar inexplicably cancelled the project despite excellent results in the studio. For many years, until the recent It's Just That I Miss You Angie Pepper compile, this Citadel 7" was the only release in existence of material from those sessions.

Suspiciously, the spiking of the album by Trafalgar occurred when Charles Fisher learned of Angie's recent marriage to Deniz, which had been kept quiet. Was the cancellation of a potentially classic album, one that may have had great commercial potential and all that implies, due to a calculated, cold hearted business decision, or a fit of emotional irrationality? We will probably never know the answer.
